Summer Camp at the JCC

Violet went to day camp over the summer for the second year at the JCC.  She loved it.  Besides the huge amount of sweets they are fed (including an otter pop every day--she always wants blue), they get to go swimming every day, and go on a field trip every week.

July 4th

Violet and I went to Hawaii in July to visit Jenee and her family and stay at the Disney resort Aulani again.  We loved it again.

Very tired at the Honolulu airport.

Dance Recital

Violet had her last dance recital.  She said she is quitting dance because it's boring.  She only liked getting to wear make up during the rehearsals and recitals.  So we are done.  In the fall she wants to start art class instead.  She says she wants to be an artist when she grows up.
