Violet celebrated her first 4th of July with two barbecues. She went to sleep before the fireworks this year--we figured she would just be afraid of them. She did enjoy "Meatfest" at my friend Jenny's house.

Jenny's sister Crystal was nice enough to take her off my hands for a couple of hours. Violet loved the attention and I actually got to enjoy the party.

Next up: We're going to hit the pool later this week. I'm curious just how well swim diapers work...
